I love performing. Ever since I was little I've envisioned myself singing in front of large audiences. Through high school I satisfied my urges singing in local rock bands and at school shows. Because I enjoy being the center of attention, I was also wellknown for hosting huge parties, but that tended to get me into huge trouble. I kept singing in local bands through college, then I got a job. Bummer.

I spent a few years auditioning for hard rock/heavy metal bands in the area, but I just couldn't seem to strike up a chemistry with any of them. I was actually told by one band that, although I could sing, I didn't have enough of a "fuck the world" attitude to sing for them. See ya'.

The Crowded is the perfect band because we are free to express ourselves, and we get along musically and personally. We have developed into some sort or warped family, and it shows in the music and it shows on stage. I finally found musicians who could play their asses off without having to shoot their mouths off.
